Area: San Pedro del Pinatar is located between the Mar Menor bay and the Mediterranean Sea, so you can enjoy swimming in two different places. Mar Menor is a bay of a shallow lagoon. Perfect for those who practice water sports with warmer water and no waves. From the port of San Pedro del Pinatar itself, you can order a water taxi for € 5 to the La Manga peninsula, to the famous "Costa Calida" water sports center. There you can enjoy sports such as: water skiing, wakeboarding, diving, snorkeling, windsurfing and many, many more. San Pedro del Pinatar has a large harbor where boats can be rented. There are two large beaches for use, surrounded by restaurants and bars. There are also very famous healing muds that can be rubbed daily to improve the health of the skin. From the bay you can also walk to La Manga along a beautiful promenade that connects the Mar Menor bay with this peninsula, it is not necessary to drive a car for about 40 km. Just 5 minutes from San Pedro Bay is El Mojón Beach with its open sea and a long beautiful sandy beach.
